How we price these, and what the figures are
Boat prices on this desk are asking prices from a listing site, which is grade-three evidence, and every piece using them says so. Depreciation is measured by comparing the median ask for one model year band against another for the same model. A brand-wide catalog mixes flagships with entry boats, so an old-against-new gap taken across a brand measures model mix rather than depreciation. Regulatory figures are read from the issuing agency’s own published rule.
